Check before you VisitThe way towers will be operating in the near future varies widely. Some will be wearing masks and limiting numbers, while others will be going back to pre-covid practices and welcoming visitors.
To avoid disappointment we recommend ringing or emailing the tower contact prior to attending a practice.

Covid19 GuidanceMost Covid19 regulations ended on Monday 19th July. The Central Council of Church Bellringers have drawn up new guidelines for ringing to reflect the changes and these have been approved by the House of Bishops Recovery Group.
Don't forget that with the changes you may have to update your tower risk assessment.

Stafford UpdateAs many of you will know, Stafford bells are being replaced by those from Hanley St John and augmented to twelve.
The Covid19 situation delayed things, but work is now underway and it is hoped to have the bells ringing again in October.
Clapper RefurbishmentOver the last few years a number of towers have had clappers repaired, re-bushed, etc. at the Baldwins Gate workshop of H E Butters and Co.
This workshop has now closed, but Graham Barnes who worked there now works at Huntaway Engineering Ltd, and he will be able to continue with clapper work.
