Striking Contests
Two Striking contests are held each year. North Staffs bands
of all abilities are encouraged to enter. Contests are an ideal
opportunity to encourage ringers to listen to and improve their
striking. More experienced bands are regulars at the contests,
but newer bands who have specifically practiced their test piece
often rank highly in the final results. Judges always give a
friendly but critical analysis of each piece of ringing and most
bands are encouraged by this expert feedback. A list of previous

Teas
Ringers' Teas are a regular feature at North Staffs Association
ringing meetings and are usually in the form of a finger buffet
provided by the local ringers and/or some nearby helpers. Teas
should be pre-booked at least three days before a particular
